GUIDELINES

  001.    This blog is HIGHLY SELECTIVE , meaning that I only roleplay with mutuals. I tend to be a little picky in who I interact with, but trust me when I say I look through all the blogs either that follow me, or that I follow to see if there would be a possibility of us working together. If I see it, I’ll follow back.  002.    I am a SLOW RPER. I not only am a very busy person with this as my low-level hobby, but I’m also a stay-at-home-mom and a writer. This means I’m not going to reply to things immediately. That being said I’m also someone who moves where the inspiration leads me, so I might reply to something from some people and leave other stuff for later. That’s just how I work. I apologize in advance. Though don’t be afraid to send me things. I will always love it.  003.    I WORK OFF MOBILE FOR THE MOST PART due to time constraints. This means it might be harder for me to reply to things. I do try to keep up, but sometimes I just have to wait until I get some computer time under my belt. This also means that for the most part my aesthetic formatting is generally simple because Tumblr Mobile is hard.  004.    CONCERNING SHIPS I have a few rules.FIRST, if we ship and the ship turns toxic I WILL BREAK THE SHIP OFF FOR MY OWN MENTAL HEALTH AS WELL AS THAT OF MY CHARACTER. I understand some ships turn toxic, but I have been through it before and dear lords it’s better to end things.SECOND, generally speaking I enjoy writing m/f ships, and you will find very little if at all content of anything else. There are exceptions here and there that may occur if the dynamic is tasty enough, but if that offends you we may not be a good fit. To be clear, I am not homophobic, you can ship what you want, it's just not my preference.  005.    Crossovers and AUs are well loved by this blog, and if I don’t have a verse for your universe feel free to hit me up and we can come up with something together. I’m flexible.  006.    --

ERESTOR

  Erestors   first memory was of Sirion. Too young to know his mother's name, he remembers only that her hair was black like his own, with rounded ears and tight embraces. His fathers eyes were like the sea, his smile broad--he was like the stars. His memory recalls the screams of terror with fear encasing a final vision of his mother's frozen face, asleep and yet cold to touch.In his youth he struggled to survive, half elven as he was, and learned to use words and wits like weaponry. When the War of Wrath came he ran messages between camps, and when it was over he tried his hand at working for merchants. In time, he became one of the many secretaries who worked in the administration of Lindon. It was here he met Elrond, a fellow half elf, who befriended him and recommended him to be a personal secretary to High King Gil-Galad.This lasted until the fall of Eregion, and the establishment of Imladris, when Erestor left Lindon to help Elrond build the haven. There he stayed until the Last Alliance, and to the front lines he returned as military attaché. When the last battle was fought, Erestor fought, as every sword was required, and when all was done he returned to Imladris with Elrond.

She begins working in the kitchens and slowly works her way to becoming a secretary in the administrative offices of Lindons palace. GILMITH

  Gilmith   was born in Dol Amroth to Prince Imrazôr and Mithrellas of Lorien. As a princess, she was raised with everything a girl could want, save one thing: her mother, for Mithrellas was unwilling to watch her family grow old and die, and abandoned them when Gilmith was a child. It was a loss she felt keenly, and so as she grew into the image of her mother, she found her father had grown overly protective. He was afraid he would lose her, and so kept her close.On one hand this meant she was the most sought after princess of the time, on the other it meant her life was the walls of the fortress of Dol Amroth. She was his greatest treasure, but she was born with a spirit that longed to see a little more outside. Soon enough it became obvious to her father that somewhere within her childish wishes for her mother that she had longed to be an elf, and thus as years passed with her beauty never fading, he knew he would be parted from her forever.With his death, her now aged brother betrothed her to a wealthy lord of Minas Tirith named Karbazîr. There were no children, though she grew to love him, and when he died some century after, she was her own mistress. She returned to Dol Amroth, but with so long away she found all she'd known were dead, and thus returned to Minas Tirith for a time until she grew tired of watching those she loved grow old and die as she flourished ever.Thus she left all home and belongings save for a lute and a desire to satisfy the young girl in Dol Amroth who wanted to see a world beyond white walls. In time she was led to Rivendell, home of the only others like herself.
